Meet Jen
Meet Jen Middleton, LCMHC
Jen is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in attachment, relational health, and the patterns that keep individuals and couples feeling stuck. She earned her master’s degree from Concordia University Irvine through the Townsend Institute, where she studied under Dr. John Townsend, co-author of the Boundaries series.
Her post-graduate and continuing training has focused extensively on attachment, relationship patterns, trauma-informed care, couples dynamics, and the neuroscience of connection. She has trained in the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, Imago Relationship Therapy, Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Relationship Theory, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Her work integrates these approaches to help people understand the deeper emotional and nervous system patterns shaping their relationships so they can communicate with more honesty and care, and build the capacity for more secure connection.
